BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Most of the 11 Indiana players participating in Tuesday's IU NFL Pro Day sessions wore white Hoosier gear.
But graduating quarterback Richard Lagow wore black.
And some pretty nifty orange cleats.
Lagow was outfitted that way for good reason. And his performance furthered a cause beyond his own.
The orange cleats bore a black label on the side that said "Kara's Krew." And the white toe-tips of the cleats were emblazoned by "Leukemia Awareness" in large orange lettering.
???????Lagow's black shirt had, in white across the chest, "No One Fights Alone," undergirded by another orange "Leukemia Awareness" slogan.
