GRAHAM: Et tu, Cassius?

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Cassius, back in the day, took down Julius Caesar.

But Caesar didn't have Rob Phinisee around to defend him.

Michigan State standout junior point guard Cassius Winston carved up Indiana's host Hoosiers much of Saturday afternoon. Nearly fatally.

But down the stretch, Phinisee's determined defense stymied Winston – most crucially on the game's final possession, when Phinisee stuck with the shifty Winston so adhesively that the Spartan star couldn't get a good look.

Winston's contested baseline miss meant IU emerged a 63-62 comeback victor over the No. 6-ranked Spartans, sweeping the season series.
