Indiana added further depth at the tight end position on Wednesday, picking up a commitment from South Alabama graduate transfer Khameron Taylor.
The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Florida native specializes as a blocker, though IU coach Tom Allen believes there’s room to expand his skill set in the offense. Taylor started 14 of the 24 games he played for the Jaguars, and while he caught only two passes for 18 yards last season, one of them was a 13-yard touchdown reception at Nebraska. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
“We are really excited about adding Kham to our program,” Allen said.
