BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana baseball (38-16) trailed by five runs, but rallied and defeated the Michigan State Spartans, 6-5, on a walk-off RBI single by junior Wyatt Cross in the 10 inning. With the win, the Hoosiers advance in the Big Ten Tournament and will face the loser of Illinois and Minnesota on Friday.
Sophomore Matt Gorski, with the Hoosiers trailing by three runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, hit the game-tying three-run home run.
Gorski recorded Indiana's lone multi-hit game and had four RBI in the win.
