Setting The Scene
• Closing out its non-conference schedule, Indiana (2-1, 0-1 B1G East) meets the Connecticut Huskies (1-1, 0-0 AAC) at Memorial Stadium (52,656; FieldTurf) on Saturday, Sept. 21. Kickoff is set for noon EDT on BTN.
• The Hoosiers have won 16 of their last 17 non-conference games, including eight straight.
• Former kicker Chris Gartner (1970-72) and linebacker Donnie Thomas (posthumously, 1973-75) will officially be inducted into the IU Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday and will be recognized at halftime on Saturday.
• BTN Tailgate, hosted by Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith and Michelle McMahon, will air live outside the west entrance of Assembly Hall from 10 a.
