Indiana is adding a graduate transfer to its backcourt.
And the best news? He can shoot.
Former UT-Martin guard Parker Stewart announced Tuesday that he is joining Indiana’s program, giving the Hoosiers some much-needed shooting help on the outside. It’s not clear when Stewart will be eligible to play at IU, though ESPN’s Jeff Borzello reports it’s possible that the 36% career 3-point shooter dons a uniform next semester.
I asked Parker Stewart whether he was definitely playing second semester. He responded, "Up in the air." Sources previously indicated it was to be determined whether he would suit up immediately for Indiana.
