Former Indiana RB Jordan Howard to make Bears debut

Jordan Howard makes his debut tonight as the Chicago Bears host the Denver Broncos at 8 p.m. The game will not be played live on TV, but NFL network is showing a re-run of the game at 11 p.m.

Considering his success at the collegiate level, the Bears drafting Howard in the fifth round (150) is a steal. Howard had his breakout season in 2014 at the University of Alabama when he rushed for over 1,500 yards and 13 touchdowns. When UAB was forced to shut down their program, he saw Indiana as an opportunity to shine.

For a good portion of the 2015 season, the 6’0, 220 pound running back was up there with the top rushers in the country, but a few injuries hurt his potential for an all-time great season.
