Florida Mr. Football QB Nick Tronti commits to Indiana

Tom Allen and Mike DeBord have mentioned a desire to have a dual-threat quarterback at the helm of Indiana’s offense. They’ve added one of the most prolific quarterbacks in Florida high school history as an option.

Nick Tronti, Florida’s 2016 Mr. Football, flipped his commitment from Charlotte to Indiana this evening -- ahead of a scheduled visit to Arizona this coming weekend.

The 6-2 Tronti led Ponte Vedra High School to the Florida 5A State Championship game this past fall, totaling eye-popping numbers of 4,000 yards and 53 touchdowns during his senior campaign — with 3,330 of those yards coming through the air.
