BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Kicking off the season, Indiana Track & Field competed at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational on the campus of the University of Michigan. Five set new personal records and while two other Hoosiers set a Simmons-Harvey meet record.
Rikkoi Brathwaite picked up where he left off in 2020 by clocking the fastest prelim time of 6.72. It was all Brathwaite in the finals as he set a new personal record of 6.64 in the event. His time tied the meet record and is the fastest time in the NCAA currently. Cooper Williams also set a meet record in the 800m with a time of 1:47.
