Entering Tuesday night’s game against Rutgers, the Hoosiers had been shooting 39.7 percent from 3-point range since Dec. 1.
But against the Scarlet Knights, Indiana made just 7-of-26 for 26.9 percent. Off-shooting nights happen to every team. But as the second half wore along, things started to bottom out in rough fashion. Four 3-point attempts from Indiana didn’t even draw iron.
And as today’s Film Session breaks down, they all came via good looks and the right reads, the Hoosiers stepping into open shots. It was a curious stretch for Indiana during one of their worst offensive performances of the Mike Woodson.
