Cole Gest to Provide Hoosiers with Change of Pace

Indiana Football has had no issues attracting offensive talent during the Kevin Wilson era. One of the newest weapons for Coach Wilson’s squad is Ohio three-star running back, Cole Gest.

Stemming from Saint Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio, Gest is a well regarded running back. Cole Gest is well known in the Ohio high school football landscape, as he beat out 2015 Michigan State commit Andrew Dowell for the starting running back at Saint Edward’s. After Gest beat out Dowell, Dowell transitioned to become a linebacker for his college career following his time at St. Edwards.

Becoming a starter over a Michigan State prospect is a sign that Gest has talent and could be another Ohio three-star diamond in the rough for Indiana.
