BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana rowing head coach Steve Peterson announced Tuesday (Aug. 16) that former Hoosier rower Samantha Clifford has returned to the program as an assistant coach.
"I am very excited to welcome Sam back to Bloomington," Peterson said. "Sam was a part of our first IU teams that went to the NCAA Championships, so she knows what it takes as an athlete to race at that level. Now, she returns to us with experience coaching for Washington State at that same level. So, she has a wealth of experience that I know will help us continue to grow and get faster as a program.
