One of the best high school players in Indiana is staying in state to play his college football -- and he’ll be a big future target in Kevin Wilson’s offense.

Late Thursday evening, the Hoosiers landed the commitment of Carmel senior tight end Kurt Rafdal, one of the top recruits in the state with an impressive offer list that included Auburn & Nebraska.

Rafdal is the second-ranked offensive prospect in Indiana and the sixth-ranked overall, both according to 247sports. He also serves as the second top-7 recruit in Indiana to pick the Hoosiers, joining Avon’s Bryant Fitzgerald.
