BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Dimitric Camiel wasn't perfect. Going up against Michigan State's Shilique Calhoun—one of the best defensive ends in college football—he wasn't expected to be.
But the redshirt junior guard held his own, head coach Kevin Wilson said. He embraced the challenges of keeping Calhoun in check and met and surpassed his coaches' expectations.
On a team looking for playmakers, Camiel stepped up.
"Dimitric Camiel played an unbelievable game against a great player, just playing as hard as he could play," Wilson said Monday.
