BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Amanda Cahill (women's basketball) and Matt Schwartzer (men's cross country) have been named Indiana's recipients of the Big Ten Outstanding Sportsmanship Award, announced by the league office on Wednesday.
The pair was chosen as two of 28 honorees selected from a group of more than 350 students honored through the academic year who had displayed positive sportsmanship. One member of each varsity sports team on every campus was chosen by his or her institution as a Sportsmanship Award honoree, and two Outstanding Sportsmanship Award winners were then selected from each institution.
