BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Amidst a four-match shutout streak, an Indiana men's soccer student-athlete has been named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight cycle.
Marking the fifth occurrence in his career and his first of the season, junior goalkeeper Roman Celentano has been named the Big Ten's top defender via the conference office's announcement on Tuesday (Oct. 19).
Celentano made four crucial saves in the span of 15 minutes in Indiana's 1-0 Big Ten road win against Penn State, including a pair of impressive diving stops, and finished with five total saves.
