BLOOMINGTON, Ky. – An early deficit was quickly erased, as the Indiana baseball program scored in every inning in a 20-7 rout of Kentucky on Tuesday (March 15) evening at Bart Kaufman Field.
Scoring in each of its eight opportunities at the plate, Indian (7-9) posted multiple runs in five of those frames. After Kentucky (14-4) scored the first four runs in the opening frame, Indiana built an 8-4 lead with four in the first, one in the second, two in the third and one in the fourth. The Wildcats plated three runs in the fifth, but IU would plate the last 12 runs of the game to account for the final margin.
