BLOOMINGTON, Indiana – The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced the 2017 Pocock All-America honors on Tuesday and Indiana senior Emily Barber was named to the second team. She becomes the seventh rower in IU history to be named an All-American and the fourth different IU rower in the last four years.
Barber, a native of Zionsville, Indiana, was named First Team All-Region last week and brought home First Team All-Big Ten honors at the Big Ten Championships after helping the Hoosiers 1V8 to a third place finish. That finish also propelled Indiana to its fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Championships, where the team placed 12th.
