ATLANTA – Indiana women's basketball assistant coach Ashley Williams has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Thirty Under 30.
Williams is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Hoosiers and works primarily with the team's guards, helping develop All-Big Ten guards Grace Berger and Ali Patberg. The 26-year-old Cary, North Carolina native also is heavily involved in team scouts and has expanded IU's recruiting base in North Carolina and the southeast United States.
This is her second stint with Indiana, returning to Bloomington after serving as an assistant coach at Furman in the 2019-20 season.
