Indiana received one (1) vote in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll released Sunday afternoon.
The vote came from Don Williams, Texas Tech reporter for the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, who placed IU at No. 25 on his ballot.
It’s the first time since Week 1 that the Hoosiers have appeared in the “Others” category of the AP poll — they picked up 19 votes in the poll released Aug. 24. Sunday’s reappearance comes after Indiana made it through another week with an unblemished record.
Five Big Ten programs landed inside the top 25, including No. 9 Penn State, IU’s season-opening opponent.
