BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana men's soccer midfielder Joris Ahlinvi was selected with the first pick of the third round, No. 53 overall, by Cincinnati FC in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.
Ahlinvi became the 51st Hoosiers selected in the MLS Draft since the league's inception in 1996.
The Hoosiers have now produced seven draft picks in the last three MLS SuperDrafts. Jack Maher (Nashville SC) and Simon Waever (Toronto FC) were each selected on day one of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft. Griffin Dorsey (Toronto FC), Rece Buckmaster (New York Red Bulls), and Francesco Moore (Portland Timbers) were all chosen in the 2019 Draft.
