CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Nathan Stone and Ben Veatch of Indiana Track & Field kicked off the Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships for Indiana by picking up individual Big Ten titles.
Through the first day of competition the men hold the top spot with 27 points while the Indiana women have not recorded points towards their team total.
Stone completed the indoor/outdoor sweep of the pole vault on Friday night with a clearance of 5.42m (17' 9.25"). Brock Mammoser also picked up .33 points for the Hoosiers as he tied for eighth with a height of 5.
