Indiana’s 2022 recruiting class is now a class of two.
Four-star forward Kaleb Banks announced Friday he has committed to IU, picking the Hoosiers from a list that included Georgia Tech, Alabama, Miami and Georgia, among others. The 6-foot-8 Fayetteville, Ga. native is considered a four-star prospect in the 247 Sports database where he’s ranked the No. 124 overall player in 2022, the No. 20 forward and the No. 2 recruit in his home state. Rivals considers him a three-star prospect and the No. 129 overall player in the class.
In April, 247 Sports recruiting analyst Eric Bossi named Banks among a handful of players who impressed during the Exposure Breakout national showcase event in Georgia:
A lean and wiry strong junior, Banks is in the 6’7/6’8” range, doesn’t lack for confidence and has impressive physical tools.
