2015-2016 ITH Season Preview: Ohio State Buckeyes

With the start of college basketball season on the horizon, we’ll be taking a long look at the conference at large as well as Indiana’s roster over the next month. Today, we continue our look at the Big Ten with the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Things will be different this year in Columbus.

All-American point guard D’Angelo Russell, the No. 2 pick in the NBA draft, is gone. Five others, Amir Williams, Anthony Lee, Sam Thompson, Shannon Scott and Trey McDonald, all who played a significant amount, graduated.

Russell (19.3 ppg) and Thompson (10.2 ppg) were the leading scorers last season for Thad Matta, who guided the Buckeyes to the round of 32 in the NCAA tournament.
