PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior libero Yavianliz Rosado (Morovis, Puerto Rico/Colegio Carmen Sol/San Jose State) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week after helping Bradley Volleyball to a 3-0 record and the tournament title at the 2018 CEFCU Invitational.
Rosado averaged a team-best 6.82 digs per set to go with 1.36 assists and 0.27 aces per set while helping the Braves limit opponents to a .144 hitting percentage. She opened the weekend with 21 digs and six assists in a four-set victory over Western Illinois. In a sweep of Toledo, she broke her own school record for digs in a three-set match with a season-best 31 and helped the Braves top the school team mark for digs in a three-set match which stood since 1988.
