NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State women's tennis team takes on UMKC on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and Nebraska on Sunday at 11 a.m. This is the second weekend on the road for the Redbirds, until they return home for a competition against Butler on March 10.
The Redbirds went 1-2 this past weekend after tying the 2007 record for most consecutive wins in a row as they defeated DePauw University, 8-1. Wright State claimed victory over ISU giving the Redbirds their first lost after seven consecutive wins, 4-3. The second loss of the weekend was against Dayton on Sunday, 3-4.
