Women’s Golf Will Head to Columbus, Ohio for NCAA Regional

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Announced by the NCAA, the Illinois State women's golf team will compete in the Columbus, Ohio, Regional, hosted by Ohio State University on their Scarlet Course from May 5-7.

Joining the 77th-ranked Redbirds in the 12-team field include Arkansas (#2 Nationally), LSU (10), Ohio State (14), Kansas (23), Houston (26), SMU (35), UNLV (35), Illinois (47), Kent State (52), Xavier (79), and Oakland (202).

The NCAA Regional Appearance is ISU's 10th in school history, and the second time that the program has competed in a regional on the Scarlet Course, as it qualified for the 2009 Regional there as well.
