The Illinois State women's golf team returns to action Friday, as the Redbirds travel to Western Michigan's Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Arizona, Feb. 24-26, at the par-72, 6,215-yard White Wing Golf Course.
The tournament consists of a 54-hole stroke-play format, with 18 holes being played Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The tournament field consists of 19 teams. Joining the Redbirds and the host Broncos are Arkansas State, Ball State, Bowling Green, Bradley, Central Arkansas, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Little Rock, Missouri State, Northern Illinois, Northern Arizona, Ohio, Seton Hall, UMKC, Wichita State and Xavier.
