LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – After the first two rounds of a three-round Loyola Parkinson Family Invitational, the Illinois State women's golf team has a robust eight-stroke lead and have four golfers within the top-10 in the individual field including day one leader Jinyoung Yun, who is atop the field by three strokes.
ISU carded rounds of 292 and 294 for its 36-hole score of 586. Butler is the closest competitor for the field against the Redbirds with a 594, and was followed by Cal Baptist (597), Dayton (603), Bowling Green (603), Saint Thomas (604), South Dakota (614), Omaha (616), Ball State (617), UIC (618), Utah Tech (622), Loyola Chicago (625), and Creighton (631)
Jinyoung Yun is the individual leader in the field with a two-under score of 142, while Morgan Jones is just behind with a one-under 141 in a tie for second.
