NORMAL, Ill. – Entering the third round of the season-opening Redbird Invitational third in the team standings, Bradley Women's Golf moved up one spot to take second during Monday's final round action at the D.A. Weibring Golf Club.
First-year Bradley head coach Halley Morell and her squad got the 2019-20 season off on a strong note with the Braves carding the third-lowest 54-hole score in program history (888) to finish three shots back of team champion Xavier (885). Despite missing three-time All-Missouri Valley Conference performer Taylor Ledwein due to injury, Bradley fired a tournament-best 41 birdies and for the first time in program history carded sub-300 team scores in all three rounds of a tournament.
