KAPOLEI, Hawai'i – The Illinois State women's golf team stands in 11th place after the first of three rounds at the 2019 Hawai'I Rainbow Wahine Invitational.
Illinois State carded a team score of 306 over the first 18 holes, just behind Incarnate Word (305), host Hawai'I (301) and BYU (300). Sam Houston State leads the field after a round with a one-over 289, while Sacramento State (290), Weber State (294), College of Charleston (296), and Grand Canyon (296) round out the top five schools in the standings.
Leading the way for the Redbirds was freshman Ali Schrock who carded an even-par 72.
