PEORIA, Ill. -- After improving to 6-0 in Missouri Valley Conference play for the first time in program history with a 61-47 victory over Northern Iowa Friday, Bradley Women's Basketball closes out a two-game home stand Sunday with a 2 p.m. game against Drake at Renaissance Coliseum.
The Braves (15-2 overall, 6-0 MVC) maintained their hold on sole possession of first-place in the Valley standings with Friday's win against the Panthers, which snapped a 16-game losing streak in the series with UNI that dated back to Feb. 2012.
Sunday's matchup against Drake features the first-place Braves, who have won seven consecutive games and own a school-record 14-game home win streak, and the three-time defending MVC regular-season champion Bulldogs (13-5 overall, 5-1 MVC).
