AUSTIN, Texas – Junior Mye'Joi Williams wrapped up her 2023 outdoor season on Thursday night at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Competing in the women's shot put, Williams would see all three of her attempts end as a foul, as another sensational season for the Rantoul native comes to a close. The reigning MVC indoor and outdoor shot put champion qualified for National Championships with a ninth place finish and mark of 17.23m (56-6.5) at the 2023 NCAA West Regional Preliminary Round.
The 2023 outdoor season saw Williams set a new personal best mark of 17.
