PEORIA — All Eric Musselman ever wanted to do is coach basketball.
“It’s all I know,” Musselman said. “I wish I had hobbies or played golf, but I don’t. I like the beach and my two sons and daughter and my wife, and that’s it. I don’t have any other interests, unfortunately.”
I’m not sure he was sincere about the “unfortunately” part, but it would take more than a few minutes talking in a hallway at Carver Arena and probably someone with an advanced degree in head-shrinking to figure that out.
Suffice to say, Musselman, the head basketball coach of the Nevada team that shredded Bradley, 91-69, Saturday night, comes by his professed one-track mind quite naturally.
