PEORIA — When Bradley guard Ville Tahvanainen hit the only 3-pointer he attempted early in the second half of Tuesday’s 91-58 rout of Maryville, the relief on his face was evident.
The shot, made from the right corner, ended a string of 15 consecutive misses from beyond the arc by the 6-foot-4 freshman from Finland. He was just 2-for-22 from 3-point range in his first nine games.
“It definitely felt good,” he said. “I had missed a lot of shots before that. It was a good pass from Nate (Kennell), I had a good rhythm on the shot and it felt good.
