NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State volleyball team earned an at-large bid to the program's second NCAA Tournament in five seasons, and first under the direction of second-year head coach on Sunday night. The selection marks the Redbirds' 14th overall appearance to the dance, capitalizing on a 25-7 overall record and share of the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title to continue its memorable 2018 campaign.
The Redbirds will begin tournament play against Cincinnati on Friday, Nov. 30 at 4:30 p.m. The other portion of the four-team regional in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, features the No. 14 national seed and host Marquette, who will follow at 7 p.
