Valparaiso Takes 68-61 Women's Basketball Decision

PEORIA, IL – Bradley senior guard Tatum Koenig matched her career highs with 23 points and five 3-point field goals, but visiting Valparaiso (5-12, 3-3 MVC) drained 13 3-pointers and forced the host Braves (3-11, 0-5 MVC) into 23 turnovers on the way to a 68-61 Missouri Valley Conference women's basketball victory Saturday afternoon at Renaissance Coliseum.

Bradley took its first lead of the game, 36-35, when Sierra Morrow buried a 3-point field goal from the right corner with 7:16 left in the third period, but the Beacons answered with a Caitlin Morrison 3-pointer on their ensuing possession to start an 18-5 scoring surge through the end of the period.
