LOUIS – A trio of Illinois State standouts have been named to the 2020 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete Team, following a vote by the league's sports information directors. Seniors Laura Arciniegas and Natalia Bravo and junior Ivon Mihaleva we each selected as MVC Scholar-Athletes First-Team members for the 2019-20 campaign.
The criteria for the honor parallels the CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) standards for Academic All-America voting. Nominees must have participated in at least 50% of the team's regular-season matches played, with at least a 3.
