Professional basketball has taken Jackie Carmichael to Spain, Israel, Turkey and back to Israel in the past four years. Mixed in was a stint with the Iowa Energy of the NBA’s developmental league, formerly known as the D-League and now the G-League.

Carmichael first played at ISU for Tim Jankovich, who left in 2012 to become associate head coach at SMU (he is now head coach).
