NORMAL, Ill. – The 108th meeting of the Mid-America Classic awaits the No. 12/13 ranked Illinois State football team this week, as the Redbirds head to Charleston to take on the Eastern Illinois Panthers on Saturday. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the matchup against EIU Thursday at The Brock Spack Show, presented by Bud Light, live from Schooners in Bloomington beginning at 6 p.m.
The Redbirds picked up a home-opener win over Morehead State last Saturday to improve to 1-1 on the season, and will be facing a Panthers team that is 0-2 after suffering a defeat at the hands of Indiana last weekend.
