PEORIA, IL – Senior Natalia Barbery pulled out a marathon victory in three sets, earning the deciding point as the last match on the courts to lead Bradley (5-4) to a 4-3 dual match victory against Northern Illinois (7-5) Saturday afternoon at the Clubs at River City.
With the team score knotted a 3-3, Barbery pulled out a 6-1, 5-7, 6-4 win against NIU's Fernanda Naves at No. 3 Singles to deliver the deciding point in Bradley's third consecutive victory against the Huskies.
Combined with Saturday morning's default victory against Western Illinois, the Braves have won the first three matches of their home stand, which will conclude Friday in a 4 p.
