Tate Hall scores career-high 28 points as Loyola turns back Illinois State

CHICAGO — Junior forward Tate Hall scored 19 of his career-high 28 points in the second half as Loyola beat Illinois State, 84-69, in a Missouri Valley Conference basketball game at Gentile Arena on Wednesday night.

Senior Zach Copeland led ISU (8-19, 3-12) with 16 points. Freshmen DJ Horne and Antonio Reeves added 15 and 12 points, respectively, for the Redbirds, who took a 38-34 halftime lead.
