PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University women's basketball athlete Tamia Perryman has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Perryman was honored after scoring a season-best 16 points against league-leading Drake.
The fifth-year senior from Indianapolis, Indiana, scored 16 points on 50 percent shooting from both the field and three-point range against Drake. Perryman made a career-high three three-pointers and a career-best-tying six field goals against the Bulldogs. Against Northern Iowa, Perryman tallied a season-high three steals.
Perryman's strong performance and academic success have earned her this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
