WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.-- On day one of the Purdue Invite, Illinois State Swimming and Diving recorded a spot in the top-five with Emma Feltzer advancing to the 50-free A-Final. Five Redbirds advanced to the night's B-final. This included Hope Westphal, Lauren Wisdom and Sylvia Admire (500-free) followed by Mia Snow and Ella Turken (50-free).
In the finals, Sylvia Admire and Lauren Wisdom both finished in the top-five of the 500-freestyle B-final. Meanwhile, Amelia Murphy and Lauren Hervey finished in the top-five in the C-final with Hervey clocking a time of 5:08.
