Jerome Randle was Never A Brave. But he’s Always Been Tony Bennett’s Cousin.
That’s why — along with his immense talent — Randle will be the only player who will suit up for Always A Brave who is not a Bradley alum when the team plays in The Basketball Tournament this weekend at Renaissance Coliseum.
“He’s definitely going to be a tempo pusher for us,” said AAB coach A.J. Guyton. “He brings another ball-hander with experience. And obviously, he can score.”
Randle, who played for two-time Class A state champion Chicago Hales Franciscan in 2003 and 2005 (the latter title was later vacated), went on to a stellar college career at Cal, finishing as the school’s all-time leading scorer.
