NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State softball team (21-5) used a 15-strikeout performance by Morgan Day and a pair of multi-run innings to power past DePaul (16-9) Tuesday night in its nonconference finale. With the win, the Redbirds improved to a perfect 4-0 at Marian Kneer Stadium, while picking up their third-straight victory.
