CHICAGO – After being named the Missouri Valley Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week Sunday, Illinois State linebacker Dylan Draka picked up another accolade Monday as he was named one of the STATS FCS National Players of the Week for Week 11.
Draka was named the FCS National Defensive Player of the Week after his stellar performance in Illinois State's 27-18 win over No. 4 South Dakota State on Saturday. He was joined by Southeastern Louisiana quarterback Cole Kelley (Offense), Northwestern State punter Parker Pastorello (Special Teams) and South Carolina State quarterback Corey Fields (Freshman) as this week's STATS FCS national honorees.
