ST. LOUIS – Junior hurdler/sprinter Cole Maguire was featured in this week's State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Spotlight for his excellence in classroom and on the track as well as his involvement in the Bloomington-Normal community.
To qualify for the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Spotlight, student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20, completed at least one academic year at a Valley institution and must be at least a sophomore in academic standing.
As a Business Administration major at Illinois State, Maguire has maintained a 3.89 grade point average and has been named to the AFNI Athletics Honor Roll, the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team and the Dean's List during his collegiate career.
