Peoria, Ill. – Southern Illinois used a 12-3 run to end the game and rally past the Bradley men's basketball, 72-68, on Saturday afternoon. The Braves are now 11-12 on the year with a 3-7 mark in Missouri Valley Conference action, while the Salukis improve to 12-12 and 5-5 versus league foes.
Sophomore Elijah Childs led four Braves in double figures, scoring 19 points on 9-of-15 shooting. Junior Nate Kennell added 13 points, while junior Darrell Brown and senior Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye had 12 and 10 points, respectively.
