PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University Women's Basketball athlete, Soleil Barnes, has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday.
Barnes was honored after scoring 16 points in a comeback victory against Northern Kentucky on Nov. 27. Barnes also tallied six rebounds, five assists and two steals to spark Bradley's rally. Barnes' 16 points mark her fifth double-digit scoring output in six games this season.
Barnes' strong performance and academic success have earned her this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
